Fantastic Forest School News
Whilst students and staff were away enjoying their summer holidays, the academy was still extremely busy getting ready for the new academic year.
Miss Smith and Mrs Jones met with Brian and Jeff from @mitie who are working with the @coopuk project on a redevelopment of our Outdoor School. We were so lucky to have been selected!
Over the summer holidays staff from @coopuk, @CBESLimited and @NICServices came on site and were all amazing!
Over several days, they built and painted everything from veg patches to pergolas, from sheds to decking. A huge amount of plants have been planted and we owe a huge thanks to:

Now the work done by all of our wonderful helpers has come to an end, the rest of the project will be continued with our students help. This will involve using tools to plant bulbs, seeds and plants and to nurture and grow!
We are incredibly excited by the redevelopment of our forest school and really look forward to seeing the students enjoy the cleared and purposeful area!
